I hope everyone had a fun and restful Mother’s Day! We took a quick trip to Palm Desert for some sun and swimming and really had a wonderful time. I kept my camera in the room for most of the trip but snuck a couple in to capture the kids in what was their weekend uniform. All day at the pool makes for one very happy Mama.
She got stitches (18 of them) after falling on concrete this past Saturday. That’s one for every year that I might feel like I have some control over her well-being..? (Ha!) After which the worries really begin, I suppose. She was brave and sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while the doc stitched her up and I held her tight. Her sweet dad was a wreck and hasn’t stopped spoiling her since.
Mom and baby now have matching battle scars. :)
