That’s one for every year that I might feel like I have some control over her well-being..? (Ha!) After which the worries really begin, I suppose. She was brave and sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while the doc stitched her up and I held her tight. Her sweet dad was a wreck and hasn’t stopped spoiling her since.

Mom and baby now have matching battle scars. :)
